On March 11, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin, charging him with orchestrating the abduction of thousands of Ukrainian children and transferring them to Russia for adoption. It’s the first time a major world leader has been indicted by the ICC. Meanwhile, proposals are gaining momentum for an international tribunal to prosecute Russian aggression.
Join our expert panelists from Ukraine, London, and the US for a roundtable discussion on how these developments will affect international criminal law, international institutions, and the course of world events.
- Prof. Michael Scharf, Dean School of Law – Case Western Reserve University
- Ms. Myroslava Krasnoborova, Liaison Prosecutor for Ukraine – Eurojust
- Prof. Milena Sterio, Distinguished University Professor – Cleveland State University College of Law
Moderated by Dr. Mark Ellis, Executive Director – International Bar Association
