The 2022 virtual edition of the IBA ICCMCC welcomed top students of 76 universities from 42 countries from all continents. Through their many hours of research, writing and practice, the students have mastered the fundamentals of international criminal law and procedure. They have developed expertise concerning the International Criminal Court’s Statute, rules, negotiating record and precedents. And they have developed impressive advocacy skills that will carry them forward in their legal careers.
After six preliminary rounds and three elimination rounds, The Honourable Society of King’s Inns has been named winner of the 2022 edition, with China University of Political Science and Law (China) placing second, and Emory University School of Law (United States) placing third.
Curious which universities and countries participated this year? What about who were the memorial evaluators and judges? You can read all about it in our IBA ICCMCC 2022 Booklet
