Registration for the ICC Moot Court Competition 2018 will open on 18 september 2017. Deadline for registration is 20 October 2017 (10am CET).
Completed registration forms can be submitted by email (ICCMCC@law.leidenuniv.nl) during the registration period only.
Registration fee 2018
The registration fee for participation in the International Rounds is based on the World Bank list of economies (June 2017). The registration fee includes a welcome reception, three lunches and a BBQ. Please note that it does not include travel, visa and/or accommodation costs.
High income countries: €975
Upper middle income countries: €675
Lower middle, or low income countries: €350
Teams that need to qualify by participating in a National or Regional Round first, only have to pay the International Rounds registration fee in case of qualification.
Regional Round for the Americas and Caribbean
The Regional Round for the Americas and Caribbean is organized by Pace University (New York). To proceed to the International Rounds in The Hague, Netherlands, universities from this region have to qualify first by (registering and) participating in this Regional Round. However, if the organizer of the Regional Round only receives one registration from a particular country, that university will qualify for the International Rounds directly. Such teams are, however, still permitted to participate in the Regional Round if they choose to do so, and their performance in the Regional Round will not affect their eligibility for the International Rounds. National Round for Brazil
The National Round for Brazil will be organized by Universidade Federal do Paraná and Unicuritiba – Centro Universitário Curitiba. To proceed to the International Rounds in The Hague, Netherlands, universities from Brazil have to qualify first by (registering and) participating in this National Round. IMPORTANT: Teams should register at the organizer of the International Round first (ICCMCC@law.leidenuniv.nl). In case two or more universities register to participate, the registration forms will be forwarded to the organizer of the National Round.
National Round for China
The National Round for China will be organized by the China University of Political Science and Law. To proceed to the International Rounds in The Hague, Netherlands, universities from China have to qualify first by (registering and) participating in this National Round. National Round for Germany
The National Round for Germany will be organized by the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies. Registration for the German National Round takes place at the same time and in the same way as registration for the International Rounds. This means that the registration forms must be submitted between 18 September and 20 October 2017 (12pm CET) at ICCMCC@law.leidenuniv.nl.
National Round for India
The National Round for India will be organized by the National Law University, Delhi. To proceed to the International Rounds in The Hague, Netherlands, universities from India have to qualify first by (registering and) participating in this National Round. The organizer of the Indian National Round can be contacted by email: iccmoot@nludelhi.ac.in.
National Round for Israel
In case two or more universities from Israel register to participate in the 2017 ICC Moot Court Competition, an Israeli National Round will be organized by ALMA – Association for the Promotion of International Humanitarian Law. To proceed to the International Rounds in The Hague, Netherlands, universities from Israel have to qualify first by participating in this National Round. IMPORTANT: Teams should register at the organizer of the International Round first (ICCMCC@law.leidenuniv.nl). Teams from universities from other countries, should register at the Organizer of the International Rounds directly (ICCMCC@law.leidenuniv.nl).
