The IBA ICCMCC opened its 2021 edition virtually on Sunday, 6 June. The participating Teams and the Judges were welcomed by Prof. Carsten Stahn, Leiden University, Prof. Michael Scharf, Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Mr. Sternford Moyo, IBA President, and Dr. Mark Ellis, IBA Executive Director.
The Keynote Address was given by Ms. Fatou Bensouda, Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.

We wish the best of luck to all teams during the preliminary rounds (7 – 18 June), quarter-finals (21 June), and semi-finals (23 June). The three best teams will compete in the Final Round of the Competition hosted in hybrid form by the International Criminal Court.
